LSC-P – Parallel Liquid Sample Cell
For viscous and polar liquids which have high boiling point, or simply for measuring non evaporative liquids at room temperature, Simplicity is key. This parallel liquid sample cell can be used to measure the electrical characteristics of the filled liquid. It has a fixed volume which needs to be filled and for the liquid to be in contact with both upper and lower electrode

This sample is designed to be reusable and easy to prepare. Both upper and lower electrode can be removed from the PTFE middle section which simplifies the cleaning procces for reusability
If significant evaporation happens within the cell, the loss of the liquid will present a disconnection between upper electrode and liquid (air or gas in between). This could lead to erroneous results and should be taken into consideration
LSC-PS – Parallel Sealed Liquid Sample Cell
Some liquids, which suffer from evaporation when measured between standard sandwich capacitor will cause the measurement accuracy to be reduced. To minimize evaporation and improve measurement reliability, the sealed parallel plate liquid sample cell LSC-PS is recommended. It also offers the advantage of adjustable cell capacitance by varying the distance between the electrodes.
In the open configuration, the upper electrode and cell closing plate are removed, allowing the sample material to be placed directly onto the lower electrode. The electrode gap is then precisely set using silica or Teflon spacers.

This sample is designed to be reusable and easy to prepare. By simply lifting up the upper outer electrode all the sample inner parts can be removed and cleaned for a new measurement. It does require spacers which are available from us at different thicknesses to create a gap between the inner two electrodes.
When filled and closed the remaining material will flow around the upper inner electrode which can substitute via gravity the area between both inner electrodes. while the two ring seals will form a tight seal that will prevent evaporation outside the cell
LSC-C – Cylindrical Liquid Sample Cell
For the use with any liquids, wether those who have high boiling point, or simply for measuring non evaporative liquids at room temperature, this sample cell will work. As the measuring electrodes are parallel in the vertical domain to each other in a cross section, the evaporation will not effect the measurement results as strongly as with LSC-P

This sample is designed to be reusable and easy to prepare. By simply opening the sample cell like in the 3d design, all the sample inner parts can be removed and cleaned for a new measurement. It does not require any spacers for operation
