Performance Demonstrations of Omega – HV500 Interface

In the figures below, we present measurement outcomes obtained through Omega Advanced Modular Frequency Analyzer with HV500 High Voltage Impedance Dielectric Interface 2 Wire Front Connection with FR-EX3.

All measurements are done with: 
• 100cm BNC Cables between analyzer and Interface
• 50cm SHV Cables between sample holder and analyzer
• Sampling time 0.5s or 1 Cycle.
• Auto Referencing mode always enabled

Omega – HV500 – short circuit calibration standard – measured impedance < 200mΩ in Basic Range

Omega – HV500 – open SHV connector – measured capacity < ~25fF in Basic Range

Omega – HV500 – 100Ω calibration standard – measured phase < ~50m° in Basic Range

Omega – HV500 – 100pF ceramic Capacitor – measured 104pF, Tan δ <= 1e-4 in Basic Range – Correctly compensated in high frequency

Omega – HV500 – 1nF Ceramic Capacitor – overcompensated in the high frequency range

Omega – HV500 – 47pF Ceramic 1kV Capacitor – It is measured from high frequency with 171V applied bias with an imposed 38Vrms with a maximum measured loss angle of 38m° in basic range

Omega – HV500 – 2nF Ceramic 1kV Capacitor – It is measured from high frequency with 225V applied bias with an imposed 15Vrms. It maintained a Loss factor <= 10⁻³ through out medium/low frequency range
